Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.

Heavy Creosote Removal in a Flamingo Park Bungalow
Before
AfterThe homeowner called because the fireplace had been used weekly through a humid South Florida winter without a sweep. Humidity makes creosote stick harder to flue walls than it does in dry climates. The flue had a quarter inch of shiny, tar-like creosote, the kind that burns at over 2,000 degrees once it ignites. We swept the full system with rotary brushes, removed roughly two gallons of creosote and soot, and ran the camera again to confirm the clay liner was clean and intact. The fireplace draws properly now, and the smell that used to drift into the living room after a rain is gone.
Animal Nest and Debris Blockage in a Northwood Hills Home
Before
AfterThis one arrived as a smoke backup complaint. Every fire pushed smoke into the den instead of up the chimney. The flue was blocked at the smoke shelf by a bird nest built over several months, mixed with twigs and palm fiber. We pulled the nest out, swept the flue from the roof down, and vacuumed every surface inside the firebox. The draft returned to normal, and the homeowners lit a fire that same evening without a trace of smoke inside.
Gas Fireplace Deep Clean and Log Set Reconditioning in Lake Worth
Before
AfterThe gas logs in this Lake Worth living room had years of white mineral haze and carbon buildup that made the flames look weak and yellow. Worse, the burner ports were partially clogged, which causes uneven flame and wasted gas. We disassembled the log set, cleaned each ceramic log by hand, cleared the burner ports, and checked the gas pressure at the valve. The flame is blue and even again, and the room heats noticeably faster than it did before the cleaning.
Chimney Cap Corrosion Replacement in Wellington

During a routine sweep in Wellington, we found the existing chimney cap rusted through in two places. That gap allowed rain into the flue, which had already started to stain the interior brick. After the sweep, we installed a stainless steel cap from Copperfield, matched to the flue dimensions. Water stays out now, and the repair carries the same written guarantee as any other repair we do.
Smoke Chamber Parging and Flue Resurfacing in Palm Beach Gardens

A Level 2 inspection in Palm Beach Gardens found cracked mortar joints in the smoke chamber, the area just above the damper where heat and smoke compress before entering the flue. Those gaps expose the home’s framing to heat. We applied HeatShield resurfacing to seal the chamber, creating a smooth path for smoke to travel. The system passed a follow-up camera inspection the same afternoon, and the homeowner no longer sees smoke lingering at the top of the firebox when a fire is lit.
